The FF1225 ultrasonic gas flow meter is designed for flare gas and other cost-sensitive applications, where users often opt for simpler solutions like target meters, thermal dispersion mass flow meters, or Pitot tubes. These alternatives frequently underperform or fail prematurely, leading to costly replacements. The FF1225 uses proprietary ultrasonic transit-time technology with a minimum detectable gas velocity of 1 cm/s, making it ideal for low-velocity and variable flow conditions. It remains unaffected by dust, moisture, or solids and can operate reliably under negative pressure.
Available in multiple configurations—including a multi-path version with flow uncertainty below 1%—the FF1225 also offers the FF1225-G variant for vertical installations or locations with limited side access. This model features a top-entry insertion design with a built-in cleanout chamber, enabling sensor removal under pressure for easy maintenance without interrupting operations or requiring side clearance.
